Land Usages in the Philippines: This map highlights the popular parts of the Philippines that use fishing ports, cultivated land, commercial forests, fishponds, and uncultivated land. Rice is a staple food of the Philippines and since the beginning of early settlements, settlers would find ways to improve rice cultivation and rice planting systems. There are also a spread of fishing ports throughout the islands,they are mostly located in the midlands and northern part of the Philippines.
Climate Map of the Philippines: This map shows the types of climate seen around Philippines. It also shows the percentage of how frequent tropical cyclones are in some regions. Overall, the Philippines experiences mostly dry and wet seasons year around. Not all regions are a single type, they vary with multiple types of climates. This map goes hand in hand with the topic of settlement because it shows how different parts of the Philippines are more likely suitable to live in than others. Early settlers settled in the mid parts of the Philippines that contained two pronounced seasons: wet and dry.

Nation Master is a great place to see visual representations of statistics, graphs, and facts about the topic you are researching.

Population Pyramids
By looking at these two population pyramids, you can see that during the 1950's, The Philippines had a very high birth rate compared to 2015. Both pyramids also show that the Philippines experiences higher death rates. It can be seen that over the years, the Philippines has experienced drastic population changes, but by 2015 there is great amount of growth in population compared to the 1950's.
